Megan’s Carousel Shoot

Carousel Fashion Shoot

Earlier this year I ran a special for a carousel photo shoot, and that’s when I first met Vanessa. She brought along her friend Megan, who was clearly trying to be super supportive and have fun, but made it quite apparent she was jealous she wasn’t there to shoot as well. Fast forward a few months and I’m looking for a hair/make-up artist for my wedding. Vanessa has just graduated beauty school and posted a photo on herself Facebook with hair up in this beautiful flowing pony tail. It was romantic with big loose curls, EXACTLY how I wanted my hair for my wedding.

I invited Vanessa over and we came up with a win-win scenario of a partial trade. Her end of the deal includes another carousel shoot, but this time, for her best friend Megan. It was the perfect birthday present for her friend, and I was happy to be part of the game plan. I suppose it’s just a reminder for me that with a little creativity, solutions can be found that work in everyone’s best interest. I love win-win scenarios! And I loved shooting the carousel again with Megan. She invited Vanessa to hop up with her at the end of the shoot for a best friend photo. The picture perfect ending to a story about friendship.

Boudoir Session with Amber

When Amber went to see my husband Matt at Wired iRepair to fix her iPhone, she wasn’t expecting to find a photographer to hire as well! But, she liked the So Many Moments photography up on the wall and got in touch with me! After our first meeting, I knew we were going to have an awesome photo shoot together. She is so spunky and inspired! We took a bunch of her rad ideas, a sunny afternoon, and mixed it up with her great attitude to land this set of photographs! And she obviously wins a ‘Best Girlfriend Award’ for setting all this up as a birthday present for her boyfriend! (He gets the set of photos without the censorship stars!)

When Stefani approached me about taking some risqué photos for her boyfriend’s upcoming birthday present, I jumped at the chance. Having photographed Stefani previously on a carousel in the middle of a shopping mall, I knew she’d be up for a fresh approach on the classic pin-up shots! We brought in the fabulous Aimee J’Adore to rock the hair and make-up, and the shoot was a blast! What a lucky boyfriend to have a gal do something so thoughtful and fun!

Matt bought me a ring flash over the weekend, so I was super excited to experiment a bit! Can any fellow-photogs tell which shot I used it in? :)
